As the Founder and CEO, I am one of your liaisons to the range of qualitative and quantitative primary market research solutions at Axess Research. I have spent the last 18 years supporting domestic and global market research in diverse therapeutic areas. 

I have particularly concentrated on specialty drugs and medical devices (oncology, critical care, cardiovascular and rare diseases). My experience also includes an in-depth knowledge of the EU and US prescriber and payer environment.

What I believe I am good at is translating marketing needs into effective, tried-and-tested, market research designs, either qualitative or quantitative. What I particularly like in my job is finding answers and driving actionable recommendations via the interactions with interviewed healthcare professionals and patients.

Prior to founding Axess Research, I was Research Manager and Product Manager at Sanofi Pasteur managing a range of pediatric and adult vaccines in emerging countries.

Julien Bart

I graduated from Faculté de Pharmacie of Marseille and I have successfully completed my university curriculum with a Master of Marketing and Management at IMIS (Pharmaceutical Market Research in the Institute of Health Industry Management) business school in Lyon. With regards to a convincing training period in market research, I decided to move towards a career in consulting to support marketing strategy.

I have spent the last 10 years at Axess Research developing a high level of skills in order to effectively and rapidly conduct research projects at both the national and international level. I have contributed to develop an effective red of interviewers all over the world.

As a pharmacist and based on my experience at Axess Research, I can rapidly understand your objectives and contribute to your project’s success. I have specialized in hospital drugs and medical devices. I support and implement any interviewing and analysis techniques.

I collaborate daily with local and corporate market research clients. I guarantee flexible and appropriate management of your project from the understanding of your objectives to the sharing of the conclusions and recommendations. I will be your primary contact throughout the research. You will benefit from our recognized availability, responsiveness, and quality control.

Working at Axess Research offers both a challenging and polyvalent experience. As a Research Director, I am involved in each step a market research requires, from the proposal to the final client presentation. Our goal is to ensure that all recommendations presented are realistic and actionable.

The problems our clients need our assistance on can occur at any stage of the product life cycle and covers all aspects of the marketing mix. This requires our knowledge and relevant use of either qualitative techniques (projective techniques, evolving mini-groups, focus groups), or quantitative methodologies (PCA, conjoint analysis, etc.).

Being in a human-sized structure requires each of us to know and use this varied panel of techniques to deliver the best recommendations to our clients. We remain in constant communication with our study sponsors, from the briefing up to the final presentation, where the results and actionable recommendations are discussed.

Eventually, this leads to a win-win relationship between our clients and ourselves. They benefit from a tailored project management and a reactive team, and we benefit from this close relationship. It helps us to better understand the strategic dilemmas and key decisions pharmaceutical companies face today, and also anticipate which proposals we will have to imagine in the future.

Jean-Christophe Beneytout

I recently joined Axess after extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry within various commercial divisions, working in multiple therapeutic fields in the retail and hospital markets (ethical and OTC products, medical devices, rare diseases, and cellular therapies).

As I have been responsible for a wide range of sales and marketing support functions, market research has always been one of my core competencies. With expertise in this field through the management of numerous local and multi-country studies, I am convinced that the design and implementation of a research project must be fully adapted to a client’s needs, as well as, the nuances of the specific market.

By defining the appropriate methodological approach, feeding recommendations with valuable insights, overseeing quality, and respecting deadlines, this is what I strive to do. At Axess, we view our client relationships through four basic guiding principles. Quality, responsiveness, innovation, and teamwork. These pillars guide us not only in growing new business, but in building long-term relationships with our existing clients.

The US office is located in Princeton, New Jersey which is widely considered as the capital of the US pharmaceutical industry. Research Managers

Your role will be to manage fieldwork, analysis, and data processing. You will conduct in-depth interviews with healthcare professionals and patients. You will then analyze the findings and create a presentation with input from your Research Director, including contributing to conclusions and recommendations. Responsibilities also include acting as the primary contact for clients throughout all steps of project execution.

Skills and experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in a Life Science field (e.g. Pharmacy, Biology, Psychology)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French (Lyon office only)
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Previous experience in market research or a marketing background preferred

Research Directors

Your role will be to lead client relationships, prepare strong proposals, write research materials, conduct in-depth interviews, deliver engaging presentations, and oversee Research Managers. You will be a business developer at the forefront of innovation and contribute to continuously developing our client offerings.

Skills and experience:

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years experience in market research
  • A deep understanding of the healthcare industry
  • A desire to develop new business leads and grow accounts
